Roots and Resolution

Ah, the smell of the mountains the light breeze off the lake. That feeling that I've walked here so many times that my soul is imprinted as "growing up". There is me climbing the tree that no longer exists, and leaning on the bar of the chain link fence that was torn down years ago. The time I gave up ever riding a bike, and then the time I did it on summer break from college cause my dad bet me 20 bucks I couldn't do it. This is my home, a little blue house with a yard and a porch. If you could see it you'd understand a bit more about me, it is one of those homes that the people inside it really do carry a bit of it around with them everywhere. So little blue house are we ready to take that little part that I've always carried to Seattle and Alaska?

Other things that happened include...
1. I went to my hometown library and they will be ordering a copy of my first book A Shard of the Looking Glass, by Michael "Fynn" Lange. You can order it to if you would like, its on Kindle and Amazon.

2. Went to help at the community pantry and talked to the mother of one of my school friends, the more people I talk to around here the more I find roots finding that even though I might of had a rough time here back when I was a teen now I can see things with a bit more maturity.

3. Went to my second cousins wedding. Congrats Mike and Kristen on the wedding it was a great location in Kingston on a horse farm. The wedding was outside the barn. Their signature drinks were served in mason jars and even though the drinks were strong they were very good.  Then the reception and the dinner was inside the barn. There was an open bar, I kept using my mason jar which seemed to be the thing to do. They had a photo booth with plenty of hats and props. Of course there was a lot of dancing and a bit of resolution for me from some people I went to high school with. It was very nice to see a good chunk of some of my fellow Musical Theatre people from back in the day.

Alright I think that is about it for now, only a few more days left till I'm on that plane, keep on reading friends and family I will miss you all and hope this blog makes up for that till December.
